City of Manassas Park Invites Community to Participate in Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop
Manassas Park, VA – The City of Manassas Park invites residents, businesses owners, and community stakeholders to participate in an upcoming Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop, focused on the future of the City.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, May 14, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor of City Hall, located at 100 Park Central Plaza. This is a family-friendly event and food is provided to participants, while supplies last.
As part of the City’s Comprehensive Plan process, the workshop is designed to gather community input on how areas throughout Manassas Park should grow and evolve in the years ahead. Participants will have the opportunity to share ideas, priorities, and feedback related to our roads, parks, facilities, and overall community character, and will feature interactive activities and discussion intended to highlight what matters most.
“The future of Manassas Park should reflect the vision and priorities of the people who live, work, and invest here,” says Assistant City Manager Dustin Sternbeck. “This is a great opportunity to influence development and shape the amenities that turn ordinary places into communities.”
Community participation is a critical component of the Comprehensive Plan process, which serves as the City’s long-range guide for growth, infrastructure development, and investment decisions. Input gathered from the workshop will inform planning strategies and policy recommendations. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend and be part of the conversation.
